Notice: Forward to a Friend Deprecation

In keeping with Gmail and Yahoo’s new sender requirements, we’ll be deprecating the Forward to a Friend functionality at the end of March 2024. This is to ensure that forwards aren’t marked as spam within the new requirements.

While the functionality is being deprecated, the existing URLs will be redirected to a fallback page (see example below). This provides the option to leave the URLs as is or delete them at your convenience.

From April 1, 2024 when a subscriber clicks on a Forward to a Friend link from an email/template that still contains the Forward to a Friend link, or from an email that has previously been sent, the subscriber will be directed to a page that tells the subscriber to use the forward functionality built in with their Email client.
