Event Stream Escape Character Update

Today, exports from Event Stream utilize backslash as the default escape character for quotes. This has caused downstream impacts when attempts are made to process exports in spreadsheet applications as the backslash character for quotes is not recognized by common spreadsheet editors. 

To resolve this issue, we will be replacing the backslash with double quotes effective September 19th, 2023, for all exports from Event Stream. 

No action will be needed to update your Event Stream exports, however, we do recommend reviewing your data configuration for any applications or processes that may need adjustments prior to this change.
