Sailthru Connect launch with all-new Mobile Event Stream data

Sailthru Connect is our suite of data-out (data portability) products that help marketers gain more granular insights into their messaging performance, and leverage their organization’s business intelligence and data warehouse platforms where they’re comfortable. Our Data Exporter offering has been improved upon, when we launched a modern feature family called Email Event Stream in Spring of 2020 (Getstarted documentation). And we’re now building upon that momentum by introducing mobile device event data about notifications, device events, and more with the Mobile Event Stream feature family. What is Mobile Event Data? The Mobile Event Stream data schema is covered in our Getstarted documentation. Mobile data is unique because events can occur in real-time or offline (“lagged”). We’ve built a system that’s flexible and can accommodate both situations so that you don’t have to worry about the sequence of event data that is created by a user’s actions. Sailthru’s Mobile data is natively collected and managed in our data lake, and shares a common identifier to help with omnichannel reporting use cases. How it Works Users who already subscribe to our Data Exporter product should get in touch with their Sailthru representative to get up and running. You’ll need an AWS S3 bucket, set up with the appropriate bucket policy (Getstarted documentation), to proceed. Once you’ve confirmed all the details and your S3 bucket is loaded into Sailthru, then data will start flowing within approximately 1 hour.
