A Brand New Magento 1 Integration Has Arrived!

We’re pleased to announce a new update to our Magento 1 integration. The update includes 14 new features and 12 additional enhancements to the existing integration.

The goal was to make this integration simpler and faster to setup, while also giving you more choice over how you configure Magento.

We’ve fully documented the extension and you can find details here, but keep reading to discover some of the highlights we think you’ll really like;

That’s right! We’re bringing Auto-tagging to Magento, allowing you to configure meta keywords, categories and product attributes that will automatically populate Sailthru interest tags. This will make it much easier for you to quickly build a consistent tagging strategy.

Transactional Templates

We’ve provided more options over the transactional templates to use with Magento emails. You can individually configure Shipping, Order Confirmation, Account Registration and Abandoned Carts.

Automatically deploy Sailthru’s latest JavaScript Tag

This configurable option enables you to easily deploy our our newest JavaScript Tag. It’s a quick and easy way to also enable you to extend functionality through front end code using our latest JavaScript functions. We also allow you to turn it off if you’re using a Tag Manager like Google Tag Manager.

Configurable Content Library

We’ve given you more control over what products you send to Sailthru for recommendations. You can choose master or variant products, or both. This gives you more control over your recommendation strategy.

Improved User Interface

It’s faster and easier than ever to configure the Sailthru extension using only the Magento Admin.

Enriched data!

This release pushes more customer and purchase data from Magento to Sailthru, allowing you to more effectively use Audience Builder in Sailthru.

The update will bring both of our Magento integrations much closer in alignment. If you’re planning a transition to Magento 2, you’ll see familiar functionality between the two versions. We wanted to make this easier for you now, and familiar if you upgrade to Magento 2 in the future.

Where can I download this?

The extension is available now from our Github account with installation instructions and a Magento Package and will be available soon via the Magento Marketplace.
